The Mask
By Terry KlasekThe mask that I wear
Is filled with glee,
but it is only hiding
the true side of me.
Oh, how I wish I could
sparkle and shine
Until all my secrets
Were no longer mine.
But as I sit in my pain
Trying hard not to complain
I look to feel worthy
But become lonely once again.
So away with this mask
So I'll no longer wonder,
Which one of these
people truely is me!
