Importance and urgency
By Rochelle Rober, June 2000
Crucial! Important! - Two
ends of a greyscale;
Varying grades of grey in-between.
What colours the tangibles and those "perceived" things?
It's the emotion attached to what those things mean.
What emotion is "Urgent!"?
How does it affect one?
One sees by the signs that the body displays:
Hurried and stressed, and very impatient;
A push for action, no time for delays.
"Non-urgent" labels encourage relaxing;
Plenty of time to get the thing done.
No rushing or stressing, or being assertive;
No running on hearing the sound of the gun.
