Colourful Thoughts

Blue is the colour
Of the Winter
That you feel with your eyes
And see with you hands;
And your soul?
It becomes blue
In the Winter.

Green is the colour
Of the sunlight
That softly caresses my face;
And green is the colour of my soul
Which floats weightless and free
Like the air in the sky,
Which hugs me gently
Like a soft woolly blanket
As I slowly sigh
And blow tiny blue bubbles into the air.....

Kleurvolle Gedachten

Blauw is de kleur
Van de winter
Die je met je ogen voelt
En met jouw handen zien.
Maar je geest?
Die wordt blauw
In de winter.

Groen is de kleur
Van de zonlicht
Die mijn gezicht zachtjes streelde;
En groen ook
Mijn ziel
Die gewichtloos en vrij zweeft
Zoals de lucht van de hemel
Die mij als een zacht wollen deken omhelsen.
En ik zucht langzaam
Kleine blauwe belletjes de lucht in....
