Is anyone there?
(Reply to Sonnet Poem, Julie Van Ryen)
by Elaine
May 5, 2003

Is anyone there to help you share?
Gently let you become aware?
Aware that care is sincere?
Not in a way to make you fear?

We are all different and I can't explain,
What feelings really are, except pain.
It's such a shame that I had to learn,
Through emptiness of being a fern.

It is only flowers they can see,
Not realizing that I can be.
Much to everyone someday,
If I can find my own way.

"We each have our own way of living in the world, together we are like a symphony.
Some are the melody, some are the rhythm, some are the harmony
It all blends together, we are like a symphony, and each part is crucial.
We all contribute to the song of life."
...Sondra Williams

We might not always agree; but TOGETHER we will make a difference.
