I Feel Your Tears

(In response to my friend Sondra Williams poem "Don't Bind Me".)

Moms and Dads please come and listen,
One day your children will make you glisten.

The war is here for us to bear,
Many can't see it but only stare.

Here we are our strength is in many,
But it will be hard for us to find any.

They are held captive can't you see?
It is for fear of what others know to be.

Truth is the essence of love in me,
Who will come and help set them free?

We have power in it's purest form,
The kind that can withstand any storm.

There is no hatred in this war,
Only love for you to adore.

"We each have our own way of living in the world, together we are like a symphony.
Some are the melody, some are the rhythm, some are the harmony
It all blends together, we are like a symphony, and each part is crucial.
We all contribute to the song of life."
...Sondra Williams

We might not always agree; but TOGETHER we will make a difference.
