Book of the Month

"Living the Good Life with Autism"

by Edgar R. Schneider

Called Ed by his friend's and Mr. Schneider by everyone else, this book is an intriguing glimpse into the world of Asperger Syndrome.  Ed writes in the present tense while reflecting back to his first book titled, Discovering My Autism; Apologia Pro Vita Sua (With Apologies to Cardinal Newman)

His insight whether speaking on his previous 35 year marriage to a non spectrum spouse to his current wife, Alix, also on the spectrum, Aspereger Syndrome, theology, politics or simply cooking recipes is stunning and will keep the reader on edge.

He writes from his heart with brilliant analogies that will make you think and laugh at the same time.

This is the second year he has been inducted into, Who's Who In America - 2003 and the first year for, "Who is who in the World for his contribution to society and our community in his life span.

It is important to note that Alix, his spouse has also been inducted for a different field.  They are a  dynamic couple and inspiration to our community.

Who is this man with such style?

"We each have our own way of living in the world, together we are like a symphony.
Some are the melody, some are the rhythm, some are the harmony
It all blends together, we are like a symphony, and each part is crucial.
We all contribute to the song of life."
...Sondra Williams

We might not always agree; but TOGETHER we will make a difference.
